D-LIS Shop
An online shop built on D-LIS — from the first visit to a return
D-LIS Shop is an online shop built on the D-LIS system: products, a cart, customer accounts, promotions, returns and complaints. Below we walk through the SHOP1 sample fashion shop step by step – the way your customer will see it.
The customer’s path
What the shop looks like – step by step
Six places the customer goes through – from the home page to a return. The description comes from the working SHOP1 shop; products, prices and the MODA15 code are sample data you change in the panel of your own shop.
01
The home page
The first screen says straight away why it is worth buying here. Below it the shop shows its goods in several ways, so the customer does not have to search right away.
- a benefits bar above the header: free delivery from 199 zł, 30 days to return, secure payments,
- a slideshow with headlines and buttons (See what’s new, Pick a jacket) that can be paused,
- category tiles – dresses, shirts and jumpers, jeans, jackets, shoes and accessories,
- product lists: Top items, New in, Special offers and one featured “Deal of the season” product,
- a discount code banner, blog posts and a newsletter sign-up.
02
Category and filters
A category list comes with filters beside it. Every option shows how many products are left – the customer never lands on an empty page.
- filters: price from – to, in stock only, rating, colour, size, material and “who it is for”,
- sorting by name, price, newest, bestsellers, ratings, item number, EAN code and weight,
- a category description above the list – text for the customer and for search engines,
- a crossed-out price and the discount percentage right on the list, prices including VAT.
03
The product page
Everything the customer needs before deciding is on one page – and when something is missing, they ask the shop without leaving it.
- a photo that enlarges on click, the price with VAT and a note about shipping,
- size and quantity, the item number (SKU) and an “Add to cart” button,
- “Ask about this product” – a small window with an e-mail field and a question that goes to the shop,
- a description with care instructions, a feature list and technical data (e.g. shipping weight),
- related products, the comparison list and links to the previous or next item.
04
Customer reviews
Reviews live on the product page, in their own tab. The average rating also shows next to the name and works as a filter in the category.
- stars and a rating breakdown from 5 to 1 with the number of reviews for each,
- reviews with a title, a signature and a date, plus a “Helpful review” button,
- a review form with a rating and up to 3 product photos, each up to 5 MB.
05
Cart, account and delivery
The cart opens on a calm screen without menus or banners, marked “Secure connection”. This is where the customer enters a discount code and picks delivery.
- a discount code entered in the cart – in the sample, MODA15 gives −15% on orders from 249 zł,
- delivery: courier 14.99 zł, parcel locker 11.99 zł (both free from 199 zł), free in-person pickup,
- customer accounts: registration, e-mail sign-in and password reset,
- the cart total always visible in the shop header.
06
After the purchase: returns and complaints
The customer does not have to write an e-mail or look for an address. Returns and complaints have their own forms, and a confirmation arrives by e-mail.
- returns: order number, e-mail and what it concerns – in the sample, 30 days with no reason needed,
- complaints: a description of the defect, when it was noticed and a choice – repair, replacement, a price cut or a refund,
- a hint on the form explaining how a complaint differs from a return, with a link to the right one,
- legal pages in the footer: terms, privacy and cookie policies, withdrawal from the contract.
