Feature 11 of 13
Company details and the footer
The name, address and tax number entered once come out everywhere they are needed: in the footer, in documents and in the data search engines read. You build the footer from columns — just as you build the menu from items.
- Registration details
- Footer columns
- Social links
- Time zone
- Date formats
What you get
One place for the details your site needs in several
-
Company details in one form
Name, street, postcode, town and country, phone and e-mail, and then the registration details: VAT number, registry number, court register number, share capital and registry court. Filled fields show up on the site; empty ones leave no blank line behind.
-
Ready text for your documents
The same details go into the templates for terms and the privacy policy, so the document does not need fixing every time the company moves. They also go into the site’s structured data, which Google uses.
-
A footer from columns, not from code
A column has a name and a list of items: a link to a page on the site, your own address or an ordinary block of text. The column name can be left empty when it holds text alone.
-
Four footer layouts
Columns with the copyright line underneath, the site name on the left with columns beside it, everything centred, or a single bar. You set the number of columns from one to six — on a phone they stack anyway.
-
Social profiles
You enter Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube once. A switch hides them in the footer while the addresses stay saved; along the way they go into the structured data as profiles of the same company.
-
Language, time zone and formats
The Localisation tab sets the site language, the time zone and the date and time format — after that the site knows what “publish from 18:00” means and how to print the date under a post.
What it looks like day to day
Three steps in the panel
-
01
You fill in the company details
One form in the System section: name, address, contact, registration details. Once saved, they show in the footer.
-
02
You arrange the footer columns
You add a column, type its name and choose its items. The order of columns and items is set by a number.
-
03
You choose a layout and profiles
What is left is the overall layout, the number of columns and the social profile addresses. The rest of the footer — the copyright line and the company details — assembles itself.
