Feature 02 of 13
Media library
You do not have to resize photos or know anything about file formats. You upload a photo straight from a camera or a phone, and the system prepares light versions that make the site load fast.
- WebP and AVIF
- EXIF stripping
- SVG sanitising
What you get
You upload a photo — the system does the rest
-
Smaller files
A large photo is scaled down and saved in the modern WebP and AVIF formats. It weighs many times less and looks the same.
-
A version for every screen
A phone gets a smaller image, a large monitor a bigger one. Visitors never download more than they really need.
-
No hidden data
Photos from a camera carry hidden information, such as the place where they were taken. The system removes it on upload.
-
Safe SVG graphics
An SVG file can hide code that has no business reaching your site. On upload the system cleans it and leaves the drawing alone.
-
An organised library
You sort files into folders and tag them with labels, and filters find what you are looking for in seconds. You upload many files at once, and move, tag or delete them in bulk.
-
Cropping and duplicates
You crop a photo right in the panel, without a graphics program. When you upload a file that is already in the library, the system recognises it and warns you or refuses it — whichever you choose.
What it looks like day to day
Three steps in the panel
-
01
You upload the file
You drag the photo into the library — at whatever size you have it on your disk.
-
02
The system prepares it
Smaller versions appear in several widths and formats, with no EXIF data.
-
03
You use as many as you like
You place the same photo on pages and in posts, and the visitor’s browser picks the lightest version by itself.
