Feature 06 of 13
Security and GDPR
A company site has to be secure and compliant with the GDPR. The most important safeguards work from day one, and you prepare the legal documents from ready-made templates.
- Two-factor sign-in
- Roles
- Security headers
- Consent record
What you get
Peace of mind — about break-ins and about the law
-
Two-factor sign-in
Besides the password you enter a code from an app on your phone. A stolen password alone is not enough for anyone to get into the panel. In case you lose your phone you get ten backup codes, and you can require two-factor sign-in from administrators or from every account.
-
Roles and permissions
An employee can write posts without having access to settings or backups. Everyone sees only what they need.
-
Protection from attacks and spam
A sign-in attempt limit stops password guessing, traps in forms sift out spam robots, and security headers protect the people visiting your site.
-
Documents and consents
You create a privacy policy and terms from templates. The cookie banner asks visitors for consent, and the record keeps what they agreed to.
What it looks like day to day
Three steps in the panel
-
01
You secure your account
You switch on two-factor sign-in — an app with codes on your phone is all it takes.
-
02
You hand out access
You give every person on the team a role with exactly the permissions they need.
-
03
You fill in the documents
The templates fill themselves in with your company details, and the consent banner works right away.
