Feature 13 of 13
The panel day to day
The panel has two questions to answer: is everything all right with the site, and where is that one setting you are looking for right now. So the dashboard says outright what needs attention, and the search leads not to a tab but to the exact field.
- A dashboard with the site’s state
- Settings search
- Ctrl K
- Lists with filters
- CSV export
What you get
Management that does not ask you to remember where everything is
-
A dashboard that tells you what to do
A dozen or so checks in one place: maintenance mode, mail, database migrations, backup, updates, disk space, administrator accounts, errors in the log. Each one does not merely judge the state — it gives you the next step and a link straight to the tab where you take it.
-
Traffic and recent events
A fourteen-day chart shows how much was going on across the site, and beside it stand the latest messages, the latest log entries, content counts and the sizes of the database, the files and the backups.
-
A search for settings, not just pages
A field in the header (shortcut Ctrl K) searches tab names and the labels of individual fields, and the result opens the tab with the field highlighted. An account sees only what it has access to in the suggestions.
-
Lists that all behave the same
A column header sorts, a filter does not get lost as you page through, selected rows are handled with one action, and after the operation you come back to the same page of the list. An empty list does not stay silent — it offers to drop the filter or add the first item.
-
Data to a file when it is needed elsewhere
Messages, form submissions, newsletter subscribers and the consent log come out as CSV — with the columns of that particular form, not all in one sack.
-
Your account and your sessions
In “My account” you change your details and password, switch on two-factor sign-in and see which devices you are signed in from — each session can be closed on its own or you can end all the others. A long form has a sticky save bar and warns you when you leave without saving.
What it looks like day to day
Three steps in the panel
-
01
You start from the dashboard
Once signed in you see whether anything needs attention. Tasks stand in order, the most important first.
-
02
You search for a setting, not a tab
You type “backup”, “password” or “footer” and click the result. The panel opens the right tab and highlights the field.
-
03
You narrow the list and act in bulk
You filter by publication state, sort by date, tick the rows and run one action on all of them.
