Pages, blog and the home page

The D-LIS system

Feature 01 of 13

Pages, blog and the home page

This is where everything your visitor reads comes from: ordinary pages, blog posts and the home page. You write in the panel, you save, and the page looks exactly the way it should.

What you get

Content you arrange yourself — no developer needed

  • Pages and the menu

You add an “About us” or “Pricing” page and wire it into the menu with a single field — including as a subpage in a drop-down tab, just like this one.

  • Blog

Posts with categories and authors. You switch comments on whenever you like, and before they appear on the site you can read them through and approve them. Readers can follow the blog in a feed reader through its RSS feed.

  • A home page built from sections

You build it from ready-made sections like building blocks and set their order. Content blocks and questions with answers go wherever they fit.

  • History and a publishing plan

Every saved version stays in the history — one click takes you back to the previous one. Publication can be scheduled “from — to”.

What it looks like day to day

Three steps in the panel

  1. 01

    You write

You type the title and the text in the panel, or paste text you already have.

  2. 02

    You check

The preview shows the draft exactly as a visitor will see it — before anyone else does.

  3. 03

    You publish

Right away or on a chosen day. After the end date the page disappears from the site and from the menu on its own.
